Empty Bowls – A Foodbank Fundraiser

Potters in the Sea-to-Sky are handcraft 100+ unique ceramic bowls for the lunch event hosted by the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre in Whistler. Chefs from Whistler restaurants prepare soups, to be enjoyed by guests in the bowl of their choice, which they then take home. All proceeds are split among the food banks in Pemberton, Whistler and Squamish.

Guests select one of 100+ bowls, fill it with soup,  and open their heart to all of those who don’t have enough food to fill their bowls.

Ticket sales, additional bowl sales and a silent auction in past years raised over $4000- All proceeds will be donated to help fund foodbanks in the Whistler area.

Bowls are donated by amateur and professional potters including Vincent Massey and Kay Austen, among others.
